Winter consists of thermals and plaid

Getting Ready video for this look:

I love this thermal long-sleeved shirt, it's so warm and comfy. I wish I had grabbed some more before they sold out.. Basically what I did this morning was get my wisdom teeth taken out. I was awake during the whole procedure and at one point my dentist and her assistant made a joke and we all laughed. Yes, I laughed while getting my teeth pulled out. It felt very therapeutic actually. Someone asked me why I never show what jacket I wear in my outfit of the days. The reason is that I live in Canada so there is no way for me to look fashionable in the kind of jacket I wear. I'll do a video/post on my Canadian winter wear soon.

ps. above you can watch the "getting ready" video I recorded for that day. On a daily basis I wear less makeup but what the hey.

thermal - Gap // plaid button up - American Apparel // leggings - American Apparel (?) // shoes - Dolce Vita // purse - vintage // scrunchie - American Apparel

A kind of review

Hey remember my last post about tall boots? Well I went to Zara and tried the wedge ones but they were so uncomfortable and I couldn't find the gator ones anywhere! So I copped these studded booties instead. I promised myself I wouldn't buy anymore booties, but every time I went to Zara they were THERE so after much deliberation I spent half my paycheck on them. And I'm glad I did, they're so wonderful.

Here are my thoughts: I love the looseness and boxyness at the ankle part. If you don't like space at the ankles then these are not for you! For a person who finds it hard to buy shoes because of extremely wide feet, these are really comfortable! Don't let the pointyness scare you like it scared me at first. The heel is not high but it's high enough that it's beautiful.
Sorry about the crappy picture. Outfit posts with them will be up soon!
