The promenade

Am I obsessed with fashionable sporty wear? JUST A LITTLE. It's just too easy to grab some sort of numbered top and dress it up with heels and a skirt. This outfit I put together to go to my brother's pre-prom cocktails was pretty last minute since I spent the day running last minute errands for him. I slapped on some powder and mascara and grabbed what was at my disposal (meaning whatever was on my bedroom floor). All in all, I feel like this is officially the end of high school... no more spring concerts, bake sales, or science fairs. Even though I graduated two years ago, I still got to experience a lot of it with my brother. High school was the bomb dot com (what's the fun in legal drinking?? only half kidding..) and reality sucks.

Play it again

Are you all sick of the sporty look yet? Not me! I am in love with this $15 sweater I got from the Editorial boutique warehouse sale, mostly because it's thin enough to wear during the chillier June days. I've been so burned out from working so much these past few weeks that it's hard for me to wear something other than sweater + shorts. It's also getting difficult for me to even write more than a few sentences on a blog post. Innocent excuses aside, I managed to get my hungover self out of the house early in the morning to run last minute prom errands with my brother ("yes, you have to get a corsage.") I'm still trying to figure out what to wear to the cocktails tonight, but I will definitely snap some pictures for the next blog post.

By the way, I have a little blog shop set up, click here to shop!

Dressed up denim

What's better than a jean shirt? a jean DRESS with POCKETS. I actually prefer wearing this particular one without a belt but I couldn't help it since this one seemed to match the shoes perfectly. Also, how do you make a man repelling haircut even more repelling? By putting it in a low ponytail. Seriously, I kind of look like a man. Oh well, I guess that means the post breakup manic phase is (almost) over. Haven't been writing as much on these blog posts but I've been posting at the wee hours of the morning so it's hard to write more than a few incoherent sentences.

Wedge season

Yes, my hair is short. End of story. Fini. I always dreaded going to school the day after getting a drastic haircut because I would have to go through 6 hours of "oh my god you're hair is so different!" yada yada yada. I was originally going for a straighter, much more layered and messy look but this is what happened after it being blow-dryed, so i said fuck it, let's keep it this way for a day... i didn't choose the bob life, the bob life chose me. So we've been seeing a lot of stilettos lately, huh? I barely see anything BUT strappy or pointy stilettos on a blogger's feet anymore. I decided to bring out my wedges from the dark and dusty back of my closet. Wedges need some lovin' too.

As you can tell by now my pashli bag is basically the only nice bag i have so far... i wish i could switch my bag game up but unless i'm borrowing from my mom's collection, you will be seeing a lot of this lim. Which is not unfortunately thing at all, since it is a lovely bag, but still. Celine next? or Chanel? What do you think? I say go big or go home.
