As usual, I found myself deleting a lot of the shots because my eyes were closed in most of them, so, again, apologies for the bad photos.

The maritimial trifecta: new brunswick x nova scotia x p.e.i.

This post consists of pictures of me posing in various nature scenes (ie. a beach in p.e.i, a lookout on cabot trail, and hopewell rocks). And a friendly fox. I needed to unwind after a long summer of working almost everyday, so I packed the basic faSHON bitch essentials: denim shorts, oversized sweatshirts, and a leather jacket. Instead of taking our yearly trip to NYC to visit family and to shop, we decided to go somewhere we've never been before - the maritimes (who am I kidding, I managed to squeeze in a little bit of shopping in Halifax!) 

But I'm back, and I'm glad. I feel more energized and ready to head back to work and start a new semester at school. Looking forward to fall so I can get back into my second skin - leather and boots. 

SEPHORA x Marc Jacobs Makeup Collection

Hey Marc Jacobs, IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME! After the critical and commercial success of Marc Jacobs perfume (don't you dare tell me that you don't have an almost-finished bottle of Daisy sitting on your vanity which you are trying to salvage every last drop of), it makes perfect sense that this brand (that basically made polka dots fashionable again) is coming out with its first makeup collection. The long awaited collection will cover the basics - foundation, powder, concealer, eyeliner, eyeshadow, blush, etc. - as well as nail polish, liquid eye liner, and lipgloss. 

Marc Jacobs Beauty's creative director, none other than Marc Jacobs himself, specially selected Established Design Studio (world renowned beauty specialty retailer) to design irresistible makeup packaged in even more irresistible modern, curvy, shiny, black-inky container that embodies the designer brand. 

Personally, I am really excited to try their foundation, concealer, and powder because that is what I focus most on when it comes to my daily makeup regime. My mother, self-proclaimed nail polish addict, will definitely want to get her hands on the nail polishes that seem to come in the most interesting colours (check out that metallic teal colour, I MEAN!)

What happens when you can't go to Osheaga? You blog, crawl under a rock, and cry. I wasn't too keen on spending $300 in the first place after finding out that Frank Ocean and Azealia Banks had both dropped out of the lineup, but I was bummed out anyways. 

I filled this void with what I love most - shopping. I bought a beautiful vintage designer piece which I will be featuring on my blog soon.
