3.1 Phillip Lim x Target

To be quite honest, Target collaborations haven't really done it for me yet. I wasn't too impressed with past collaborative designers like Isaac Mizrahi, Missoni, Prabal Gurung (except for that ONE dress). Fifty percent of it was personal taste and I guess the other half of it is that you get what you pay for. Somehow, this 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target not only looks beautiful and wearable, but also good quality. My favourite aspects were the baby blue touches as well as the floral patterns (that floral dress I NEED). That Pashli spinoff is so adorable (definitely getting that baby one to accompany my mama Pashli). The only thing that was missing were the shoes! I was excited to purchase those pointed loafers to find it nowhere to be seen on the website. Total bummer.

All in all I'm very impressed and extremely excited to shop this collection once a Target store opens in my city (FYI there will be some open early and late this fall for you Montrealers!)

Plaid problems

It's been perfect leather weather all week and my body has grown accustomed to it, then BAM, we got blindsided with an extremely humid 30-degrees day. How do you go back from wearing flannels and leather jackets to skimpy shorts and crop tops? The answer is: you don't. You just melt in the heat and deal with it. Because I'd rather die from a sun stroke than spend another minute in the denim shorts/crop top/sneakers combo - aka the summer trifecta of basic bitch wear. Je refuse!!

I bet you're also wondering, "hey... that's not a phillip lim OR a bally bag..." and I will address your inquiry with two words - céline baby. I finally added a new bag to my mini collection (and by collection I mean three bags sitting spaciously on a shelf). I am happy with it.

Post labor day

I'm one of those people who will find something they love and wear it to death... hence the 2+ blog posts featuring this blazer. Like everyone else, I'm desperately trying to squeeze what's left of summer out of my wardrobe before I bury myself in knits and leather.
