Nothing much
Did the most suburban thing ever and went to Costco today to fill our empty fridge. I bought this Tony Smith jacket for $9.99 on sale (original price $145 - i know right?). Never heard of the brand. It has military style buttons which I hate but I love the asymmetrical cut and the big lapels which I can wear up (as shown) or down. It's also really fitted. Can I just reiterate the fact that this jacket was LITERALLY ten bucks?

Spotlight: BCBGMAXAZRIA FW13
Brasserie T!
Foie gras terrine
Pan seared foie gras
Beef tartare
Flank steak
Salmon with dill+fennel salad
Restaurant's interior (mind my brother's cowlick)
Restaurant reviews aren't really my thing - if you want some Montreal restaurant reviews hit up my bff Megs at Maquettex - but I thought I'd share my experience at Brasserie T, a bistro located in downtown Montreal. The first thing you think when you walk in is 'wow this is so place-des-arts-y there's so many windows it's so open i love the wooden floors oh cool there's a brasserie/bar feeling yet they also have tables for eating'. The customer service is amazing, the waiters are so nice and chillax (they're not in uniforms or anything). They literally give you unlimited amount of what seems to be french baguette cut up in thin, toasted slices and normal slices as well. I was surprised at how big the portions were considering it was a fancier bistro and fancier bistros tend to serve smaller portions. I ordered the beef tartare (no brainer) with peppercorn and it was delicious, one of the best I've had. They were cut into bigger chunks than at Confusion or Laurence if I remember well. Both foie gras were amazing as well. I'm sorry if I got the dish names wrong, I'm trying to remember the names. All in all, I will definitely be coming back for lunch with the bf or bff :)
You can check out their info and menu at www.brasserie-t.com
Brasserie T is located at 1425 rue Jeanne-Mance, Montreal.

Zara is my drug
Sadly my schoolwork has taken over my life these days hence why I'm not blogging often. Haven't been shopping much because I'm saving up for a Phillip Lim Pashli bag (halfway there!) but my mom treated me to some Zara therapy. I copped this tropical print shirt which I think will be great for spring and a midi pencil skirt (mind the sneaker wedges, I swear they would look good with heels). Shirt was $25, skirt was $19, both on sale :)

Welcome to the family
I realized that I had one too many Goosebumps/Babysitter's Club books on my shelf so I cleared most of them out to put shoes. I never put shoes out because either a. they will smell or b. I liked to keep all of my shoe boxes. On the last three shelves I put mostly heels and nice boots then I have more boots at our house entrance and flats in the family closet.
Oh and ps. those are new additions - two pairs of Zara boots on sale for $40 each (studded Chloé-like boots were originally $199 and harness motorcycle boots were originally $99). Plus I got all-black free runs and new Zara stils that were $35. Really comfy too. I am happy.
Top left to bottom right: Jeffrey Campbell, Zara, Zara, Zara, Zara, Jeffrey Campbell, Gap, Jeffrey Campbell, Aldo, BCBG, Zara, Zara, Zara, Jeffrey Campbell, Nike. (omg lol at all the Zaras and Jeffreys. My collection needs way more diversity and I promise to work on it).
